Reality TV star, restauranteur and philanthropist Lisa Vanderpump brought the inaugural Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala to Taglyan Complex on November 3, along with a host of familiar faces eager to support the foundation.

The event included dinner, live and silent auctions, musical performances from Leona Lewis and Eric Benet and of course plenty of dancing. The festivities were led by Mario Lopez, who served as the evening’s host.

Luckily, Lopez wasn’t the only celeb in attendance. Vanderpump had the support of Vanderpump Rules cast members Jax Taylor, Kristen Doute, Brittany Cartwright, Scheanna Shay,  Stassi Schroeder, Peter Madrigals, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, Tom Schwartz and James Kennedy. Adding to the festivities were Real Housewives cast members Kyle Richards, Gretchen Rossi, Slade Smiley, and Taylor Armstrong. Singer Lance Bass was also in attendance, and received the foundation’s Hero Dog Award for his work as an advocate for the ethical treatment of dogs.

The Vanderpump Dog Foundation was founded by Vanderpump and husband Ken Todd with hopes of improving the lives of dogs worldwide. As the foundation’s mission statement notes:

“The Vanderpump Dog Foundation’s mission is to provide for a more humane world for dogs worldwide. Through both our domestic and international campaigns, we feel that the organization can make a positive impact on global legislation, education and treatment of animals.”

With a perfect combination of entertainment and star power, there’s little doubt that the first Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala was a major success.
