GWB and LB. Ceremony for 2006 Recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Honorary Xavier University graduate Earvin “Magic” Johnson and dozens of other stars, business figures, and members of academia filled the ‎Taglyan Complex Ballroom on June 15th, 2015, to congratulate Xavier University of Louisiana President Dr. Norman Francis on his illustrious 47-year career. A befitting retirement party for a man of Dr. Francis’ stature, the “Honoring a Living Legend” event was hosted by celebrity comedian Anthony Anderson (from NBC’s Black-ish) and featured entertainment from DJ Mal-Ski and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
