On November 21st, 2019, we at Taglyan were delighted to have Lisa Vanderpump and The Vanderpump Dog Foundation host their 4th Annual Gala to raise awareness and funds to continue their fantastic work.
The star-packed event was a sold-out affair, kicking off in the evening with a red carpet, candlelit cocktail hour, and a silent auction. (Guests got to enjoy champagne and customized “pumptini” cocktails). Silent auction items included Valentino bags, bottles of Dom Perignon, and high-end dog beds.

The gourmet dinner involved music, dancing, celebrity performances, celebrity speakers, and a live auction.
Mario Lopez returned to host the gala for the fourth year in a row. Other presenters included Ross Matthews, Dr. Evan Antin, and LaLa Kent.
Real Housewives cast members Kim Richards, Camille Grammar, Shannon Storms Beador, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, and Joyce Giraud attended to support the event, as did Vanderpump Rules stars Lala Kent, Brittany Cartwright, Tom Sandoval, Scheana Shay, and James Kennedy.
Congressman Ted Deutch was also honored with the 2019 Dog Hero Award during the evening for his work in helping create a more humane world for animals.

Attendees enjoyed performances by former Fifth Harmony member Ally Brooke, British singer Leona Lewis and Kodi Lee (winner of 2019’s America’s Got Talent), jazz band Downbeat LA / J Society, and DJ James Kennedy.
During the evening, founder Lisa Vanderpump gave a speech about what the non-profit has achieved, drawing attention to the opening of a second shelter in China and the incredible success stories of the 1300+ dogs adopted since the Vanderpump Dog Rescue Center opened.

The Vanderpump Dog Foundation was founded in 2016. With a mission to end the dog meat trade and tackle dog overpopulation, the foundation is built on a platform of education, legislation, and activism in order to better the lives of dogs domestically.
