Sandra Thomasian and Rodrigo Bozoghlian had an elaborate wedding in Los Angeles, California at the Taglyan Cultural Center. The theme was vintage floral fantasy and every element from the décor to the cake, lighting, furniture and attire followed suit. After their incredible celebration, Sandra and Rodrigo honeymooned in the French Riviera, Paris and Prague.
Rodrigo and I met 4 years ago and had a long distance romance the entire courtship! Our families were thrilled when we got engaged and we were excited to plan a whimsical, classy affair for our family and friends. The Taglyan Cultural Complex provided the perfect backdrop to make my dream wedding into a reality. We chose The Taglyan Cultural Complex to host our wedding because to us, it represents a timeless elegance that we associate with weddings. When you first enter the ballroom, it just feels like a place where weddings should take place. The picturesque landscape, the elaborate ballroom, the magnificent glass ceiling all helped to convey a certain ambiance for the guests to enjoy. The charm of this reception hall is unlike any other venue. Everything from the custom lighting to the beautiful courtyard, and the wonderful staff it all adds to the unique experience at Taglyan. The Taglyan Ballroom gave us the perfect canvas to create our chic, timeless affair. Taglyan is not only incredible for its beauty, but for its service as well. The entire staff was absolutely delightful to work with. From our initial meeting with Aram, we knew we were in good hands, and Gary Taglyan was also amazing to work with. Gary went above and beyond to make sure everything was customized to our liking. On the most important day, it is very comforting and helpful to know that you are surrounded with professionals who are there to make sure everything is as you dreamed. For us personally, the most enchanting part of our wedding was the flowers and the decor. The theme was a Vintage Floral Fantasy! Everything from the wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses, invitations, place cards, cake, dance floor, centerpieces reflected the floral dream that was the focal point of our wedding. I chose lavenders, petal pink and ivory because I thought the colors were romantic yet traditional. The flowers were vignettes going all the way down with an extensive amount of candlelight, high and low centerpieces and refluxed rose heads. The room looked like a romantic garden! The dance floor was a white vinyl floor with a custom decal design created by Sky Events and Productions to complement the theme. One advice I would give to all brides is to be true to your vision of your wedding while taking into account your guests experience. Choose an overall ambiance or feel for your wedding and make sure every element ties in beautifully together. And above all else, have a wonderful time and enjoy the celebration!
