Donated in the name of community betterment and development, benefactors Doctor’s Petros and Karine Taglyan presented the Taglyan Cultural Complex as a humble gift to Hollywood in recognition of the 80th Anniversary of the Western Diocese. The historic St. John Armenian Church adjacent to the new complex finally found its fit as the Taglyan Cultural Complex emerged as a compulsory structure in Los Angeles.

The Taglyan Cultural Complex was welcomed locally, nationally and globally as the grounds were graced by Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti and other diplomats and elected officials.
